"Hello Peg!
Im on location with Stephen in Greenville, SC for the new film that George Clooney is directing. Here's a photo of the dress and jacket your made me for the Oscars..we didn't win this year, but I looked great and felt comfortable at the ceremony for the first time, among all the stars and skinny directors' wives."
Thanks.

"Peg,
I just wanted to follow up with you with a big thank you for all your help getting ready for my last big event in my life! I always know that I can count on you and your team to have me looking my best. As a jewelry artist, I love the fact that your designs are simple, sophisticated and come in so many different colors. I can always find just the right fabric that will show off my latest creation to it's best advantage. And! As a traveling gal, I love the fact that I can "roll, tuck and go" with your slither fabrics. It amazes me that I can roll up even one of your gowns, tuck it in my suitcase and head for the airport knowing that when I get to my destination, the dress will look as lovely as it did when I first tried it on. Here are some pictures from my latest event where I wore one of my wilder necklaces with one of your lovely gowns. As you can see, the collar of the gown was simply perfect for the necklace. I just love my Peggy Lutz designs! Thank you so much."

Cheers,

Hi Peg,
It's been a while! I wore my drape lapel coats and separates in slinky all winter and have been wearing the batik equivalents through the summer. Change of seasons sees me mixing the two. I have finally found an ironing service who are up to scratch (very difficult in England). It costs me a fortune during the summer when I am wearing three pieces of rayon every day but it is just one of those things. Some people spend their money on doing up their homes or going on holiday. I pay a cleaner, my ironing service and have made my garden catsafe for my cats, so they can't get run over.

Do you have any of these batiks left from summer 2007: Forest Plum, Asper, Malachite QR4, Malachite BA4, Rhodolite? Also is there anything left from the old batiks in Malachite or Tile?

Hope you are keeping well."

Regards

"Oh, Peg,

The clothes are wonderful! The black sparkle jacket is perfect as are the navy pants.

Everything fits and looks great and feels really nice!

The drape lapel coat looks very elegant, indeed.

I really appreciate your help in putting this together and expediting it so I will have it for my adventure next week."

Thanks again. Cindy M. Pleasanton, TX
"Thank you so much!

I am just thinking ahead for the holidays. I think I may actually have a party this year, and I love those blues. Are there any of the long kimonos that would go well with that dress?

I have a friend at work who is a curvy size 14 and is preparing for her son's wedding next summer. She has been looking everywhere for a 'mother of the groom' dress. Shopping on line she came up with a long sleeved silk suit that looked like something Nancy Reagan would have worn (I'm making a face). This wedding is in Eastern Washington State in July. That is a code word for dry and hotter than the shades of hell. She would be so hot and miserable, it doesn't bear thinking of. Anyway, I showed her your web site yesterday and then today I took in my slither dress and the kimono jackets I have from you for show and tell. I think that when she gets her future daughter in law pinned down on colors, she is going to contact you for swatches and then about getting something put together. I think a sleeveless dress and an exquisite, one of a kind kimono jacket would be perfect. Do you think it would be rude to look better than the bride?

I have been having a lot of fun with your new website. We are taking another cruise in February and I keep looking at that swirly blue dress thing with lust in my heart. Sigh.

In the words of St. Paul "I thank my God every time I remember you..." Philippians 1:3 I bet you had no idea that designing and making lovely clothes could have such an influence on people.

Thanks again,"

"First off, a big rave on the new website, and boy that Chanel boucle jacket looks familiar! After all that work, may as well sell the design again, yes.

And a story for you, live from tonight:

Tonight I attended a huge dinner for the founder of my county's Jewish Family Services organization, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. I am running for Attorney General, of course, and was seated with the area's state representative, a member of city council, a local resident who's active in the local arts programs and in the city's neighborhood associations, a Chamber of Commerce executive, and the honoree's next door neighbor.

I was wearing a black slither shell and pencil skirt with my black shibori kimono over it. Out came the waitstaff, with asparagus and brie soup as the first course. Naturally, I was the one who spilled half of the soup on myself, though fortunately it avoided the silk kimono and landed on the slither. A kitchen door was in view with a handwashing sink right there, and I dashed for it while flagging a waiter to my seat.

Cream soup's not the easiest thing to clean, so after blotting off the main quantity of the soup, I realized I couldn't just spot it out. I wound up reaching for the foam soap dispenser, working it into the spots on the shell, and then simply turning on the cold water and rinsing the shell -- about half of it, because of the quantity of soup,.now wet. I did a fast wring, blotted a bit, and took a look, along with an astonished chef who agreed that there was no way without actually touching the shell that you could tell it was damp.

I pulled the kimono back on, came back to my seat, and didn't miss a beat of dinner. I'd been away less than five minutes, and only two of the other people had actually noticed what had happened.

By the time I was home my shell was dry -- and no spots, stains, or smells on it.

Who else can give women who work like fiends at all hours, travel, and have to look great in public, black outfits we can also wash our way out of during formal events? I never batted an eyelash once I knew the kimono was out of harm's way, because black slither can take care of itself in a pinch. So bless you for saving me from public embarrassment with the wonder of slither."

"Peggy! I received my order just about a half hour ago, and really love everything. You were so right about the Juliet Dress -- it fits perfectly. I love my coat! The Drape Lapel Coat is the perfect length, the perfect size, and the fabric is unbelievable. It all feels so comfortable on, so flowing and not stiff. Please charge the Tiger Kimono to my account, I'll be keeping that too. It fits well, the color is perfect with my hair, and is something I can wear for work.

You have a great concept! Just brilliant! The fabric swatches are going to have a special place in my closet so I can enjoy looking at them. I depend a lot on what you say, you were very helpful advising me to get the Juliet and you were right, you were right about everything. As time goes on, I'll know more how to make those choices.

Thanks for all your help. I'll enjoy wearing these tomorrow night knowing I have something no one else has."

"Dear Peggy,

My beautiful stole has arrived -- how gorgeous! What a wonderful investment piece it is!

Thank you so much for the care and personalised attention you and your team gave my order. It means a lot!

I'll feel a lot more confident at my big event on Monday, draped in something so lovely.

Looking forward to doing business with you again!"

"Thank you, Peggy, for making the finest piece of clothing that I have ever owned.

When I put on the "beatnik artist sketchbook" skirt I couldn't believe what a winner it was. If the weather hadn't been so cruddy, I would have worn it out immediately. Instead, I am going to wait until I know I can wear it safely.

When I do, I am going to take loads of pictures and write about how much fun I had in it. I look forward to doing so. The skirt is simply wonderful & totally worth the wait for the lining. It was a perfect match. I am so gonna model for your new website!!!

Thanks again!"

"I meant to write sooner, but...

Belated but sincere thanks for your wonderful clothes! I went into a panic when I was invited to a posh dinner at a private club and then a formal gala ball in Chicago. The reason for my dread - the horrifying lack of suitable clothing in my size. I just couldn't stand the thought of shopping, knowing I would have to hunt through racks of clothes that were seemingly made of either upholstery fabric or circus leftovers. Then I discovered you! I don't know how you did it - we spoke over the phone, you sent me swatches and clothes to try and, well, I have never had so much fun trying on clothes. I have never had the experience of having so many lovely pieces to choose from! The gown and stole were perfect - really beautiful and glamorous - I have since worn them on a cruise. The slither separates along with the rayon kimono were perfect for the club and have since been perfect for a Bar Mitzvah and other events. You saved the day - and the night! Thank you, than!"

"Peg, I just wanted you to know that I received my kimono jacket and that it fits perfectly you were right in recommending a smaller size for me. It works perfectly for the black dress that I am wearing it with and adds just the right amount of elegance to the outfit I looked for weeks in stores and catalogues and then thought, try the internet and there you were thanks, I will be ordering again!"

"The UPS guy arrived way after his usual time tonight with the dress, jacket and scarf. The fabric is beautiful and you are right, I loved it. The lined jacket feels and looks great. Thanks for suggesting the lining. The colors are wonderful. The dress fits me well in the bust and is plenty roomy in the waist and hips. Thanks for getting it to me so quickly.
Thanks again."

"Being a 400+ pound attorney looking for something suitable to wear to a meetings, court and a very important interview, I read about your company in the Denver Post articles written by Kerri Smith and found your site on the internet. Aside from being large, I have some specific problem areas; namely, very large calves and ankles that tend to swell and make me quite self-conscious to wear a dress, even a rather long one.

You made me a beautiful deep green Tee Dress that went right to my shoes and a matching Kimono jacket. I felt so comfortable and so beautiful in this, the first dress I've worn since my weight topped 400. The material was Slither but not clingy, soft luxurious and wonderfully flowing. The lines were classic and feminine, it was professional yet sensuous.

I can honestly say that the dress and jacket you sent was a good 50% of the reason I felt so confident in my interview today! I also received several compliments on the style, fabric and color of the outfit, some even from perfect strangers! It is definitely "my color" since my eyes are green.

I have had clothes custom-made before and they were so expensive. Worse than that, I was disappointed because once made, the style was not becoming on me. Your clothes really do not cost much more than quality clothes off the rack yet you can make them to my measurements, to the length I want, and make pants fuller to deal with my extra-large calves. You can add slits or close them up - were else can you get that? But even more importantly, you have designed a line of clothing that is stylish, classy and meant to flatter the fuller figure. I was pleased beyond my expectations. I did not just get a beautiful outfit; I got a day filled with happiness! Thank you for that! Your friend... "

"The wedding was a huge success. Traffic stopped as the bride and groom exited the old church under the arc of swords held by six marines with Irish bagpipe music playing in the background. Or maybe it was the groom's mother in her beautiful ensemble by Peggy Lutz!

I lost count of the compliments of the "Where did you get that dress and kimono?" from other fuller figure women, including one who was in line at the store when I stopped to pick up more film. You have a customer and am anxiously awaiting the fall catalogue. Thanks ever so much. "

"Peg I am so happy I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning surfing the net until I found your site. It was well worth it. You truly understand a plus size woman's dreams and desires, to look and feel beautiful. Peg, I'll never forget you, and you have truly earned a place in my heart. Thanks for everything, I'll send a picture and I can't wait for my next big event (I'm thinking Juliet Dress) shiny of course. Thanks again Peg, you're the greatest.
