Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know I received
my outfit and wore it to the wedding today. It fit perfectly and was
absolutely beautiful. No adjustments or anything was necessary.
I was able to take it off the hanger and put it on. I was
so pleased with your work and your promptness in getting it to me on
such a short notice. I got many compliments on it today also.
My husband also loved it. It is so hard to go to a store
and buy something off the rack when you need plus size. This was a very
enjoyable shopping experience. I look forward to ordering more from
your company.

The Juliet dress arrived today and it is GORGEOUS!!! The kimono is
perfection, the fuschia is so flattering to a girl's complexion. The
length is on both pieces is fantastic. The silhouette is very nice,
flowing and elegant. When I get the
Serious Hair and warpaint on I will have a picture taken for you. I am
so very very pleased with your beautiful work!

Your work was a big hit, I got many compliments and gave credit where it's due. Here are some quick snaps a fan made after the concert, (no time to arrange the folds really well) and edited to show the dress off best. I found turning out the lining on the front gave a nice vertical accent, very effective at distance.

Hi Peggy-- thanks so much for sending out the beautiful jackets so
quickly! They are all SO lovely! The materials and colors are
gorgeous!
The burgundy "eden" 3/4 kimono and the multi-colored slither kimono are PERFECT on me!
The
silver is gorgeous, but not quite the right color combination for me --
very close -- but not quite. So I'll return that one to you via fedex
or usps tomorrow.
Could you send me a sample
of the ink slither, and a couple of other patterned slithers (I like
fallish colors but not too dark -- some golds and light browns are good
with greens, salmons (not too orange), purples. Or something with a
black background is good too.
Thanks Peggy! I'm going to really enjoy the two that I'm taking with me to Boston this week!

Dear Margot,
Here's a photo from my niece's wedding last weekend.
I
almost didn't wear this beautiful outfit because the weather was
terrible, and I didn't want it to get wet. It was raining torrents,
with 60 mph winds and tornado warnings. Happily it stopped raining just
a short time before we were to go.
This photo is with my younger sister (mother of the bride) after
dinner. She got her genes from the other side of the family!
I really love the coat and dress! They were soooo comfortable, and the fabric is just fabulous.

I am EXCITED! The slinky items I already have from you will be great so now I am thinking of what else will workwith my wearable art. Do you think black rayon slacks (I have several pair) will work - black velvet also? What to wear underneath on top will take some thought. I have both purple and gold satin-y tanks that could be compatible. I may have to break down and get a dress one of these years. . .
Do you think it would sacrilegious to consider wearing black jeans with it?

Hi Peg,
I got my dress and shirt yesterday and am a happy camper. They both fit and are beautiful. It is always a revelation to see what color things are in real life compared to what they look like on the computer screen. I thought the swirls on the dress were silver, so the blue was a surprise. It is beautiful and I just love it.
Is it possible to see the available clothing styles on the web site? The old site had a place where it was possible to see line drawings of the different dresses and tops that can be ordered. I have been looking for tops and blouses in greens at the moment and not having a lot of success.

Yes, I would love to see some greens. I prefer jades and sapphires rather than limes, acids and grass. Does that make any sense? I have red hair and a pale complexion that tends to pink, so I like dense, rich colors rather than colors that strike the eye like a lightening bolt.
I am still learning my way around your new site. It is funny; I go months without buying any clothing and then suddenly, I am on line cruising every day for a couple of months.
While I've got you: what is the proper way to sore the slither dresses? Do they stretch when they hang? SHould they be stored flat or does it make any difference? I just weant to make sure that they keep that nice shape.

Congratulations on the New Web site!!!! I love the clothes I got from you! Especially, the “Beatnik artists’ sketchbook” ball skirt! It is so much fun. It makes me want to find new places to wear it!
Here I am, playing at the De Young museum’s Dale Chihuly exhibit.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Your art is revolutionary. In your clothes I don’t have to hide away, be passive or feel like a second class anything. A good message to anyone who can’t wrap their brain around the idea of women being something other than what they see on tv.

Remembered to finally send these pics to you - left for Canada the day after the ball and am getting over jetlag now.
We enjoyed the ball and I had many compliments on my outfit. It was very comfortable.. I think the brown velvet looks really rich and it doesn't show in the pictures but it really complimented by 3 color gold necklace.
